More angles. More comfort.
More out of every release.

The Aletha Wedge is a precision accessory for the Hip Hook (Mark), Orbit, and Range, designed to help you find the right position faster, manage pressure more precisely, and relax more fully into every release.

Asymmetric Geometry

Designed specifically around Hip Hook and Range placement. Not a generic block. The shape is the function.

Longer Sloped Edge

Raises the Hip Hook and tilts its tip more vertically, improving the approach angle to the psoas in ground and standing positions.

Rear notch for Range

Holds the Range exactly in place during cervical and suboccipital work, eliminating the stability effort that interferes with release.

Textured Grip Surfaces

Every face is textured. Nothing shifts when you need it to hold. Symmetrical side surface. Flip it to treat either side.

3 ways to get more out of your Hip Hook

A lighter touch on the Iliacus

When you bring your leg out to the side, there is less body weight on the Hip Hook. The slope enhances this position, allowing the same access to the Iliacus when pressing on the handle that you get on the ground, but with less pressure. On days when you want a gentler session, this gives you the same positional access with less pressure.

Easier to use with larger midsection

For users working against the wall, the slope creates additional clearance around the midsection and more space from the wall, so you can position the Hip Hook with ease, regardless of your body shape or size.

Better access to the psoas

In the standard ground or standing position, the approach angle matters. Most flat surfaces don't give you enough of it, especially for larger bodies. The longer sloped edge raises the Hip Hook and tilts its tip more vertically, improving the approach angle to the psoas.

3 ways to get more out of your Range

Relax into your neck release

When the Range is positioned in certain places on the neck, staying stable often requires effort, which works against the release. The rear notch holds the Range exactly in place. The back slope of the Aletha Wedge supports the weight of your head. All you need to do is gently pull the wedge away from you to gradually increase the pressure while keeping your head supported.

Target lower areas on the neck

Positioning the Range closer to your skull accesses the suboccipital region, but there are many tight muscles along the neck. The Aletha Wedge supports your head throughout, so you're not choosing between comfort and targeting a specific level.

A more effective angle for the upper trap

The angled side surfaces support the Range against the wall at an improved angle for upper trapezius work. The grip surfaces keep everything stable. Because the side surfaces are symmetrical, flip Aletha Wedge to treat either side without changing anything else about your setup.

3 bonus ways to use your Wedge

Support the opposite hip when using the Orbit

Place the Aletha Wedge under the other side during glute and piriformis work. It keeps the pelvis level so your body stays relaxed and the orbit can do its job without compensation.

Seated Posture Support

Slide the Aletha Wedge under your sitting bones at your desk. The slope supports a more natural lumbar curve and reduces demand on your hip flexors throughout the day.

Calf stretching and ankle mobility

Place one or both feet on the longer sloped edge while standing near a wall. The incline stretches the calf, which is often tight as a compensation for tight hip flexors.

Designed Around What You Were Asking For

"After years of watching Hip Hook and Range users work through the same friction points — struggling to find the right angle, wishing they could dial pressure up or down, having to focus on staying stable instead of relaxing — I knew the answer was a precision accessory designed specifically for these tools. The Aletha Wedge is my answer to what you kept asking for: one solution that meets your body, your position, and your tightness level exactly where they are."
