Why Use The Orbit?

There are 3 main uses of the Orbit to support your muscle release routine

Psoas Release

The psoas is one of the deepest muscles in the body, running from your spine down through the front of your hip. When it holds tension, it pulls your pelvis forward and throws off alignment throughout your entire body. The Orbit's size and density let you sink into this muscle above and below the hip crease, applying the sustained pressure it needs to finally let go.

Piriformis Release

Once the front of the hip starts to release, tension in the back of the hip follows. The piriformis and deep hip rotators tighten as a direct response to a tight psoas and iliacus, and they need to be released too for the hips and pelvis to fully realign. The Orbit is the right tool for the job, delivering broad, even pressure deep into the glutes to release the tension that builds up there.

Warm Up For The Hip Hook

The Orbit and the Hip Hook are designed to work together. The Orbit releases the psoas and glutes, relaxing the surrounding area and preparing the hip for deeper, more targeted work. Using the Orbit first allows the Hip Hook to access the iliacus more effectively, so when you're ready to go deeper, your body is ready, too.
